                                      બોધમય વાતૉ       લગભગ ત્રણેક દાયકા પહેલાંની ઘટના છે. સવારના નવેક વાગ્યા હતા. હું નાઇટ ડ્યૂટી પૂરી કરીને સવારે આઠ વાગ્યે તો ક્વાર્ટર પર હતો. ગઇકાલે રાત્રે ચૌદ ડિલિવરીઓ થઇ હતી. મેટરનિટી વોર્ડના તમામ ખાટલા તાજા જન્મેલા શિશુઓ તથા નવી નવી જનેતાઓથી ભરાયેલા હતા.હું રાઉન્ડ લઇ રહ્યો હતો, ત્યાં એક ખાટલા પાસે મારે અટકી જવું પડયું. મેં પૂછ્યું, કેમ છે? કંકુ, તારી તબિયત સારી?* જવાબમાં કંકુ રડી પડી. કંકુ એ પેશન્ટ હતી, જેની પ્રસૂતિ મેં સૌથી છેલ્લે લગભગ સવારના સાતેક વાગ્યે કરાવી હતી. એ ફોરસેપ્સ ડિલિવરી હતી. કંકુ એકવડિયા બાંધાની અને ફિક્કી યુવતી હતી. એટલે પ્રસૂતિની આખીયે ઘટના એને વસમી પડી ગઇ હતી. ટાંકા પણ ખૂબ લેવા પડયા હતા.
